It's due to the rice having been planted and the herders have to travel further a field for grazing.

Could be any one of a number brought in as excess baggage by young lassies on fiancee visas. Apparently word has gone round that you may actually be asked to produce the 'sick buffalo' when tearfully cadging a bit of extra spending money. The first one did cause quite a stir when it came round on the baggage carousel at Heathrow but now they just say 'is the TG flight in already?'
