Sorry a little off topic but farangs beware,
A new German is in the village. He's been internet introduced to some Thai piece. He speaks no Thai and no English and has no idea what Thai women are like. So he's been relying on another German and his wife within the Amphur.
The wife of the German helper(?) tells the ignorant Germans lady that for a price she'll get the ignorant German to buy her some gold for a price. They agree 1,000 Baht. The ignorant German gets told that buying his Thai lady gold will help sway her love for him. So he does. On doing so the lady hands over the 1,000 Baht. Then the helper(?) has the cheek to come bragging to my missus about what she did. TiT Land of Scams.

^ Yes I am talking farang living in a village. The latest German is heading for a big fall but I can't help even if I wanted to. His teelak won't let him near me. Similar to the other ladies that get a farang trophy.
The Germans a tight cnut, most are. He only bought her half Baht gold. Had it been more................Originally Posted by dorch
Edit: Tightest farang I've come up against was an Oker. The tight twat waited for 5 Baht change after payin for his beer.

Fair enough, I thought most lived there as their teelak came from there and they couldn't afford to live in a civilized place or were retired with slight dementia.
My math must be off.
The Gold Traders Association announced buying prices at 19,647.36 baht per baht-weight for gold ornaments and 20,000.00 baht per baht-weight for gold... Gold prices falls B100 to B20,150.
Gold prices steady at B20,300 | Bangkok Post: business
My math must be off. A half a baht of gold would be 10,000 baht. 1,000 would buy nothing.
Put down the drugs Aging Vadge. Your brain's soggy biscuit bud.
The 1k is the helper's fee for helping persuade him to buy the gold.
thanks. You are such a polite guy.^ Always making the forum a friendly place.
1.3 grams 96.6% Gold/about 30 pad kapow moo/10 bottles of whisky/3 wicker baskets/ 20 ripe Durian......Originally Posted by aging one
The 1,000 Baht was payment for the woman helper(?) for persuading the German to buy his teelak half Baht gold. Sorry if I didn't explain things properly.Originally Posted by aging one
Sure you did. He's just off his noggin on God only knows what.
I love reading these threads. Its amazing how many foreigner dolts end up here and are easily swayed by VJJ. Must have been a tough social life where they hailed from.
