My New Years Resolution(s)

I am going to learn to clean my ears more. I constantly forget and end up with a carrot field growing in there which is fucking disgusting. I have done this all my life and finally I am going to do it.

I will write an ear cleaning diary to make sure I do it every day.

What is your New Years Resolution?

I am going to concentrate on my spelling in 2006. How many resloutions are we allowed?

I don't have any, and have not made up any for years now. I stopped smoking, but this didn't happen at Xmas but around March of a few years back.

Cut down on the 1/2 bottle o' hard spirits a day donkey years ago ... do still tiple but moderatly though, without bringing it to hangover level.

Pussy chumpin', I ain't planning to join any trappist monk comune any time soon, so while the plumbing still works, I'm planning to use it at every twist and turn.

Ear de-waxing & cleansing mentioned by OP is the missus duty.. so that's sorted.

Could shave a bit more I guess but, my present squeeze likes the garfield look and feel, especially while feeding on her beaver... so

ain't life just grand being me (nearly) diffect free?

Much like the Captain, my New Year's Resolution involves cleaning. I have a different area of the anatomy in mind, however.

OK. I also have a couple of more serious resolutions. I'll be retiring at the end of March, and moving to Pattaya in April, with my wife and 2 cats. I resolve to ensure that the remainder of her life, during which she will be in very good economic condition in Thailand, will give a feeling of pride and contentment.

Further, I resolve to continue my successful weight loss campaign. I began a year and a half ago at 220# on my 5'8" frame. Not a pretty sight! I'm now down to 180#, as of my weekly weigh in yesterday. Still, of course, not a pretty sight, by any reasonable assessment! But at least less offensive to the eye.

Finally, while it will, at times, conflict with the resolution made for my wife, I resolve to make myself happy. Oh. Wait. I said that in my opening paragraph!

I suppose I could add that to my list also. I do, therefore, resolve to refrain from any conscious expression of my perfection.

A fair question! But, in this case, I did mean my wife!

I will get a proper food allergy test as Christmas dinner really fucked my stomach up yesterday. Then I shall endeavour to get down to 93 kilos before midsummer.

Although me getting rid of the carrots in my ears is not going to be a miracle as well.

I shan't think about my resolutions until the 30th of this month. I would rather enjoy myself first.
