I don't have a degree. What's so special about them? They don't garuantee you a good job and they certainly don't prove that the holder is more clever than some one that doesn't have one, so what's the big deal?

I combine all these qualities and a wide knowledge on an array of subjects in my humble self, and have a degree to boost.

    Where's me medal?

Degrees don't say anything about smartness but you have to be smart to get a degree, twit. Degree is a proof that you are qualified in certain field.

Yet again with this statement you proved that you are a clueless c.unt.

Jesus will you people change the record, I'm not seeing many signs of Intelligence from you people who claim to be smart. I'm an idiot and even i can see that these constant trivial arguments are very juvenile.

if i had been less clever and handsome i expect i would have taken a degree course.

i am lucky that i dont need a degree. Being very clever and handsome is usually enough to get most jobs - apart from those which require a driving license.

My guess is that the people most sceptical of degrees are those who don't have them. Human nature, I guess.....

It reminds me of Trygve Hegnar (very successful Norwegian businessman and publisher). He stated that he preferred hiring economists rather than journalists to write for his publications - he claimed it was easier to teach an economist how to write well than teaching a journalist about economics. So I guess it works both ways.

I personally know three wealthy people.(Meaning that they are prolly worth over USD 15 mill each.)

1)Head of a large multi-national company.Has an ACA. (accountancy degree from NZ)
2)Owner of a small NZ business.Employs 80 people.(Thick at school and dropped out of Uni.)
3)Director of medium sized NZ business.Employs 400 people (never made it to Uni and left school at 15)

All three have the same things in common.Energy, have had good luck and enjoy their work.

Folks without degrees are usually jealous of folks who do have degrees. Why, I don't really know.

If they wanted a degree, then they could also have gone through the financial pain, stress, fatigue, heartaches, headaches, migraines that the graduates put themselves through.

The fact that they elected not to, is their decision. No use crying over spilt milk, is it?

If you want a degree, then go & earn one!
