Well I guess the adage that you haven't lost until you've actually sold is in play and the only move I've made so far netted a profit so... hold and wait and see I guess.

Mind, I'm still receiving the almost daily dividend benefit of Smeg and taxexile losing their collective shit over it all too. So there's that!

in a professional capacity, you don't play with amateurs

and yes they might have bigger balls but they are fools too, and you never win against fools, you let them hang themselves

I am quite happy making less with short on SP500 and DOW

it's all about managing risk with understanding the fundamentals,

with bitcoins, it's all emotional non-sense and ego frenzy shit, you are buying tulips

and guess what there are no winners in that game in the long run,

wot a ridiculous comment.... if u have no winners, u must have no losers.. the amounts lost and gained must be equal. minus the spread, dealing charges.

the spread and the swings is the reason there is no winner at the end,

ok for those who paid $1 for it and sold it for $100, and never came back

with a bigger volume of deals, and idiots all buying at the high, not sure there is a real winner left

ask if there was any winners in the Tulip mania,

in the first few months, sure there were

however when it was a full bubble, everyone in the game was fully invested and they all lost at the end, no buyers, price back to 0

and here we go on the good news front

    Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges closing

Five Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges have decided to close, rather than comply with a requirement that they register with the Financial Services Agency. The regulator's inspections of other cryptocurrency businesses have uncovered shortcomings in corporate governance and internal controls.

Wall Street struggles to progress on blockchain

Decisions by Depository Trust & Clearing Corp., BNP Paribas and SIX Group to stop working on blockchain projects reflect Wall Street's concerns about industry readiness and cost, according to Reuters. "Basically, [blockchain has become] a solution in search of a problem," said DTCC's Murray Pozmanter.

saw a figure the other day (quoted by an academic study) that btc should be valued at $2,000 similar to what has been discussed here (didn't post the link as i was about to be thrown in jail).

    can't find the link now.

but, imagine $2,000 is around the range where btc will find itself this year and in the future.

I'm going to let mine sit now, the roller-coaster I was promised didn't eventuate and I'm bored. Anyways I have Smeg and taxexile to monitor and report on it for me.

On to my next investment... I'm buying a classic muscle car!
