Jetstar just screwed me and it hurt

Bought a ticket from Pnh to Sin next month with Jetstar in line with a connecting flight with Scoot back to Oz. anyway a week after I booked the ticket they send me an email saying that they don't want to fly that day anymore so we have pushed you to the next day.
Scoot only fly every 2 days so I've had to push it over with them and it's cost me an extra $155 to change that flight.
Jetstar wanted $21 to fix their flight over to the second day until I informed them they where kunts with a monkey arsed flight system that sells non existent tickets and fucks over its clients before the even fly.

After all of this they said I should have taken out their travel insurance but I can see how that would work because they call them selves a point to point. If I had to do this all again would there be a way to get out of it without incurring any extra costs.
    Cheers

Same thing happened to me, going the other way. Scoot were chronically late and I missed my Jetstar connecting flight in Singapore. Cost $140 + I had to "sleep" in Changi Airport for a few hours.
The thing is : even if you are insured, the paperwork + documentation for a refund puts you off ever applying. Plus they deduct the first $50 anyway.

The number of my friends who have complained lately about these cheap travel options have made me even more sure I will stick with the regular airlines.

When you are on the flight bang on the cockpit door and let the pilot know how upset you are...

They're probably ok if you don't have a connecting flight. If you do, see if you can get a cheap room in the intermediary city for 1 night.

Exactly the same happened to my brother he and his family were booked on Air Asia from Yangon - Bangkok. Then the flight was changed to the next day, so his connection was no good. There is no way to get a cash refund/credit. He lost 600 pounds.

Moral if there is one. When using cheap no frills airline allow an extra day if you have a connection.

I got a 3 hour cap on Air Asia after doing a few KL - Aus runs. Only use them for flights 3 hours or less. From BKK to Manila, Phnom Phen, KL etc is fine, just like a bus ride, but the long haauls are pretty grueling, not to mention the layover at the worlds crappiest airport (KL air asia terminal).

KL is a bit of a dump, but I just sit down with my earplugs in, and read a book.
Never had a problem with Air Asia, and done about 15 flights. Though their online booking system is a pain....it steers you toward the more expensive options.

You should try claiming for a damaged bag from jet star.

I documented it here: Jetstar suck | Family life in rural Thailand & Australia

Unluckily for them I am a stubborn bastard.
