No GOW, not my wallet. I took the cash out of my wallet & put it in the paying wallet! Put that to the left of me where there was only the waitress.

go figure...

I love this country and it's pretty sad when this type of thing happens.
I've already been given advice from our resident agony uncle about how to resolve this issue.
I now go only to the most tried and trusted bars.

Whenever there's been a problem with a bill at the Bull's Head, they've always sorted it out in a friendly and efficient manner. I was in there with D2k & Bluffer the other day and we had seperate bills which were a bit confused but we sorted it out fairly easily.

I'm sorry you made the wrong choice and done a runner Process as it wasn't necessary and you've just alienated yourself from the best pub in Bangkok because of you hot headedness.

I will talk with the manager about how much a shot of blackcurrant is though - I can't see that being right.

The spirit was seperate!

Yeah Marmers it is indeed a nice pub with some cool people there too but I just got pissed off the other night. The bill was sent back & forth three times, 715 bhat dissapeared and I was being charged 130 bhat for 2 shots of blackcurrant in my guiness! Just rape my ass, spunk on my eye-browe, call me sue & get it over & done with. It's a shame really cause I did previously plan to eat there every weekend...mai bpen lai!

CMN...I'm from S. Wales. A smallish place called Cwmbran. It's about 3 miles from Newport. And yeah, being born in Wales, I'm Welsh.

Most of the time yes.
Partnered Scott Gibbs at centre in school mind you. One of many claims to fame.

I've seen your piccies. You're too small to play anywhere else.

Ever thought about starting a team in CM? The Bangers would come and visit.

There is one that I'm vaguely involved with playing out of the Irish bar.
In all there are I think 8 senior teams playing a round robin at the moment.
Mostly Thai, the Irish bar side are mostly UK and are kind of slaughtering everyone else at the moment. PM me if you want details, I'm sure they'd happily oblige and would welcome slightly stiffer competition.
The main interest up here as far as schools and uni rugby is concerned is of the female variety. i'm thinking about coaching soon.

There's going to be a tournament in Feb (I think) for oldies teams (over 35s). It's attached to the Bangkok 10s tournament. I'll send you the details if you PM me an email addy. I'm sure they'd love to have a team from CM there.

Back on thread for a minute.

I am trying to sell my boat and yipee! I have a buyer already - the bad news is that it is some Nigerian **** who is trying to con me out of my hard earned.

They asked for a picture of the boat so I sent them this:

A bargain at only 6,500 pounds don't you think.

So far the dialogue is going like this:

And my reply:

Rebecca,
Thank you for your interest but I think you may have misread the advertisement. I am selling a boat with a Honda engine attached and do not wish to seperate the items. Selling you just the engine on its own for
6,500 would be quite dishonest of me.
I am also confused by your offer, you at first say that you are offering me 6,100 and then later tell me to take my 6,500 out of the 9,000 which you intend to send.
I have to tell you that at this stage I am not prepared to lower my price below the original asking price of 6,500 UK pounds.
Also I am in fact in England and it will be quite difficult for me to process a US cheque, and if you are expecting to collect the goods in the US that would be quite inconvenient for you. I note that you are currently in Spain would it not be simpler if I arranged the delivery for you, I have in mind one Captain Sensible who is very reliable, provided you do not let him have the key of the drinks cabinet.
An early decision on your part is suggested as I have another potential buyer, Mr Francis Drake, who also seems to be very interested in the goods.

Yours
Seller

What to do next?
Lord, deliver us from e-mail.

^ lol i had about 40 of these when i was selling my nissan skyline. Not sure how it all works though, when they tried it on with me they were offering the money before collection. I wrote to them saying yeah send me the money and as soon as it is cleared funds i would contact their agents who could come and collect it. The thing is they never once called it a nissan skyline or a car it was always called a unit.

Nothing ever came of it though, shame really as they were offering me £30k over the odds for the car, i was sooooooooo disapointed when i didnt sell it to them
