I missed have missed them. I spent a week on Chang in 2011 and it was quiet. Didn't notice any Russians if they were there. Most of the island is quiet outside peak times.

I went to Ko Chang 5 years ago with My Wife and 2yr old son. It was crowded with Northern Europeans, huge rats,sewage flowing straight into the sea,and the sea water had tons of floating plastic (John Lemon condoms) Never will go back,horrible.
