    Another Coup in June!!

Political winds of change predicted in June

Noted astrologer Friday predicted that the country will be hit by political winds of change in June if the government cannot control conflicting parties.

Mas Kehastham, Feng Shui Science Discovery Club chairman who went into fame with his prediction that the World Trade Center Towers would collapse and many people killed said that Thailand will be hit be fire, bombs, and political conflicts through out this year. June will be the month which conflicts reach its highest in the year. "If the government cannot curb conflicts, there will be a government change at that time,'' he said.

He said he does not know his birthday so he cannot predict Prime Minister Surayud Chulanon's future but by judging from his character especially having a round mouth, he will head towards bad luck.

one of my colleagues visited a feng shui master who advised him against attending weddings or similar for the next 10 years.

sounds like a good excuse to me.personally i would ask the fs master to put it in writing so i can show to my wife as an excuse note.

in fact it would have been handy before i got married

TRT convinced another coup on the way

TRT convinced another coup on the way

The Thai Rak Thai Party will launch a nationwide campaign against another possible coup, saying that its political analysts have found evidence that clearly supports the theory that one will take place.

Suthin Klangsaeng, the party's caretaker spokesman, said his team strongly believed another coup was on the cards, citing three main indicators.

The first is the growing conflict between the government and the Council for National Security (CNS) and the political movement of some groups, especially the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD).

Second, some media have been supporting or trying to create conditions - by citing recent protests - that make another coup necessary.

Third, there have been attempts to change the prime minister and topple the government.

Suthin said the Thai Rai Thai strongly disapproved of any attempt at another coup, believing it would create "detrimental damage" to the country. It will gather the signatures of people across the country to oppose the idea.

"The Thai Rak Thai Party will exert all efforts to fight against any coup attempts, by resorting to peaceful and democratic methods. The party believes the political problems can be solved by using an interim constitution, and the election must be held as the government has promised," he said.

Nisit Sinthuprai, a former Thai Rak Thai MP, said the party would campaign in every tambon and village for people to join it in lodging complaints against potential coup-makers.

Chaturon Chaisang, the party leader, supports the plan.

"We believe this will provide stronger immunity for democracy against a coup," he said.

PTV deputy chairman Chatuporn Prompan said he believed Thai Rak Thai coup theory because CNS deputy secretary-general Saprang Kalayanamitr has made noises about another coup for eight months.

The PAD has also staged a political campaign in the provinces over the past two months "without sound reasons", he said.
Chatuporn suspects the PAD wants to support a coup so that the coup-makers can use protests as an excuse to prevent confrontation, as they did in staging the September 19 takeover last year.

Well, TRT should know, they'd love to see it happen, whatever they say in public. Anyway, haven't they been disbanded as a political party?

And Feng Shui is about rearranging your furniture isn't it? Not about telling the future. Don't attend a wedding for 10 years? Sounds like he's just got divorced, and messily at that.
The truth is out there, but then I'm stuck in here.

I think something is due to happen.
The sept 19th coup was far too restrained.
Some blood is due to flow.
Then hopefully we will see the baht take a tumble.

I don't see how TRT would gain anything from a coup. Their support in the military has probably been disrupted by the current administration. All the indications I have seen amongst the TRTs support base in the NE (the wife's family ) is that they would welcome Thaksin back. I don't see Thaksin making a comeback personally but TRT are better off playing a waiting game as the CNS and current adminstration's support amongst the middle class declines.

My money would be on Somkid Jatusripitak as next elected Prime Minister.
    Lord, deliver us from e-mail.

All of 20 seconds to find out his birthday. I don't know if it shows a lack of knowledge on my part, but I've never heard of nor seen the guy before.
