Thread: Bringing Pattaya downmarket : Russians

I have just had 3 days of relaxation in Pattaya, well 7km outside it and was flabbergasted at the sight of so many Russians. What's going on? I don't mean just tourists but cheapos scanning the cheap food section at Lotus after 9pm and half dressed hookers clearly wearing no underwear.

Can somebody tell me why they have converged on Pattaya like flies to shit?

Russian tourists now outnumber all other nationalities

We're talking about English tourists here right ?

I just had the pleasure to enjoy a week end in Patters also...

All the hotels were fully booked and we landed finally in the ASIA'S BIGGEST HOTEL,as it was rated a few years back...

The Ambassador Hotel is located at the end of the Jomtien Beach,just before the Ocean Marina harbour and hotel...

They have something like 5'000 rooms !!

At 2'100Thb the room with the internet discount, it is not the cheapest around Patters but this place is very busy those days with Russians...

The poor standard of service available is not worth the money, compared to many other places (unfortunately really fully booked by Scandys and Ruskys actually...) but it is better in there if a few kids are with you then to sleep on the beach..

This hotel was purchased by Russian tour operators, i heard, and is of very good standing to them !

Not exactly to my standing,

but i enjoyed the stay, had some fun with Rusky people....i still have no clue what they were talking about, i know now that Baboushka is a grand mother and i could have said Da DA if i was invited by some good looking Moskovityas...

They bougth back life to a condemned place, not best standard yet, but alive again ....

If you are in the area, it migth be a place to go for the look from the 42 floor, free of charge...

and if you wanna check if russian gals have underwears, plenty of them there for the study...

Have to check if some pics can be posted to show impressiv pools they have there...

And I thought there'd be a few more pics of Russian hookers in this thread, live-ones for a change.

I visiited a family that were staying in the most expensive wing of the Royal Cliff resort recently.
The place was full, and about half of the occupancy was well heeled Russian tourists.
I daresay there are others that are staying in budget hotels, but the notion that the Russki's spend no money here is nonsense. They just spend it in different places.

Most polly some hookers to, but most of them seemed to be decent correct and some are bladdy pretty, and much more then 8 of them, there are 5000 rooms in the place !...

Let me get this right . The Ivans are shopping in budget markets and staying in nice hotels only becouse they had to sell thier underwear , could they afford such a nice place like LOS to goto?

That's true, but you would be surprised at the number of families who know nothing about Thailand, who have Pattaya included, as part of their holiday package, by travel agents who should know what it is like.

Beautiful beaches, sport and recreation facilities, infrastructure, international gastronomy etc., ideal for a family holiday in a tropic resort.

Blame the new Visa regulations for the Russians.

Hopefully after a few dead hookers, situation will be back to normal

Well gets maddening when too many Russians are running about. Very rude least the ones I've encountered, especially at the bank.
