Mohammed the cat is back after 5 months

My favourite cat disappeared some 5 months ago.
Never really left the house or the garden before.
    He was 2 years old.
After a few days I assumed he was dead.

This morning he came back, absolutely emaciated but otherwise healthy.

Any theories on where a cat could get to for 5 months?

Awwww, that's nice! I lost a cat when I moved house in about 1980. She escaped from the cat-box when I moved in and I followed her to a neighbour's car where she hid under the bonnet. Then she ran off.

I asked a lot of the neighbours' kids that I met if they'd seen a black cat, but no luck. Every morning and night I'd shake my box of "Whiskas" at the back door in case she heard it, but no luck.

Then, one day, there she was at the back door. Brought tears to my eyes. Here she is:

This day and age you really dont need to stick your finger up your cats bum to check for worms, best to give them the tablet every month

    just gave it a tablet.
    well tried too.
he nearly ripped my hands apart.
    gave up.
crushed the pill and couldn't find a syringe.
managed to get about half of it down by improvising with a pen.

    bloody hard work that was.

That's Sparky. Sole beneficiary of the late Mrs. Petersson (of Petersson Paper Bag Corp.). Now in the care of a trust fund, as you can see.

BTW, how do you get the photo to stick and not the URL?
