Starc right back in the groove.
Starc right back in the groove.
^ It's not the bowling attack i'm worried about.
India 6/143 at tea.
Shaun Marsh is not the brightest of batsmen, is he?
Another fascinating day's play in what's been a very good test match so far.
Taking Kohli before stumps is always a huge boost.
Pitch is holding out OK.
Indians taking it away from the Aussies.
They need to rip through the tail here.
Uphill for the Aussies now at 64-3...
It all rests on Shaun Marsh now.
In other words...they're fucked.
^ Good test match so far,218 runs still a long way to go.
6/181
97 to win with 7 down.
Can this get interesting?
Good game lost by 31 runs on to Perth.
Our bowlers batted with more discipline then our batsman.
Finch walking when not out is unacceptable and based on his current form he should be dropped.
^ He bats at 4 or 5 for Victoria move him down the order and Khawaja to open.
Lets not drop anyone, that just puts us on the same old merry go round.
We need to back this team for the entire summer.
Second Test friday Perth
I agree to a point mate but Finch is not an opener as he made his name being an aggressive batsman.
He has failed at poking around playing defensively and has not made a decent score for yonks.
I sometimes follow the Sheffield Shield and see a number of newcomers scoring well and consistently.
Who would you say deserves a chance?
Marcus Stoinis would be one.
I didn't red you.
I've now put that right.
Australia eke out 175-run lead as India seamers cause havoc in brilliant contest
The Perth pitch that promised fire and fury has turned erratic and ornery, and in the process rendered batting something of a lottery which means the outcome of the second Domain Test remains as utterly unpredictable as the ball’s bounce.
Australia ended day three 4-132, ascendant by 175 runs, which already looms as a sizeable target given the difficulties that batters – other than India’s irrepressible skipper Virat Kohli – have found beyond challenging.

Another good game
Winning the toss was absolutely vital on this wicket. But yeah it's been a really good game to watch, Oz are short priced favourites at this point but if they don't build a big lead against a team with Kohli in it....
On another note, what a fantastic stadium this new facility is. Life just got so much better for Cricket and AFL fans in Perth.
^ Too bad this magnificent stadium was not full with cricket fans.
If Australia can reach 300 plus they will be hard to beat.
But there is always the Kohli factor.
Yeah this looks like too much for India right now.
Pop out to do a bit of shopping and it's 100/5 chasing 287.
1-1 then.
