Let's av it Leeds
It wasn't all bad news for West Brom yesterday.
We've got a new mascot, hailed by none other than The Daily Telegraph as 'the greatest ever mascot'.
West Brom's start to life in the EFL Championship may have begun with a defeat to Bolton, but their opening day of the season was not a total disappointment.
Saturday's game at The Hawthorns saw the club unveil 'Boiler Man', West Brom's new mascot following their sponsorship deal with Hull-based company Ideal Boilers.
West Brom announced the lucrative two-year sponsorship agreement with Ideal Boilers back in May and the company's logo is now the main sponsor on West Brom's match shirts and training kit.
A statement on West Brom's website confirmed the news by saying: “With a history dating back to 1906, Ideal can claim a rich heritage just like the Baggies.
“Since those early days, Ideal have grown to employ 1,100 staff and develop a turnover of £435m, garnering multiple awards as millions of their products have found their way into British homes and businesses.”

He was enthusiastically greeted by the fans...

Da fuck
The Boiler Man of course!
Boiler man great advertising.
Come on Wolfie
Stoke have got Ashley Williams, Darren Fletcher, Peter Crouch, Mame Diouf and Bojan Krkic on the bench today.
Surely that must be the strongest squad in the league?
2-0 down to Leeds at half time, and they've looked absolutely dire in all departments.
Leeds are looking good for the season with a good quality manager and a lot of fresh signings... great start so far, surely Stoke can't come back from 3-1 down.
Good write up on the new regime at Leeds here: Leeds had to 'sacrifice' £7.7m Ronaldo Vieira - Andrea Radrizzani - http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45071101
You can't possibly have watched that game if you think we looked worse than Stoke in that first half..
I missed the 1st half, but I'm watching the 2nd half now and, of course, I was just teasing .
What a division that is to get out of. It looks like 2 of the 3 favourites are gonna lose on the opening day while the 3rd, Boro, needed a 97th minute equaliser to salvage a point.
Serious hard fucking work that league.
Ah, right.
It's pretty clear the championship takes some adapting to.
It looks as if West Brom will swap Rondon for Dwight Gale next week and he has something like 35 goals in 62..ish championship games. We
still look a bit 'past it' in some areas though...like a few players on that Stoke bench you mention.

Three points for West Brom in a seven goal thriller at Carrow Road.
Stoke in the relegation zone.
Happy days.
Wow that was six minutes well spent.
That Dad’s Army on Stoke’s bench you love so much probably needs a blanket.
No love from my end for Stoke. I'd be more than happy to see them plummet through the divisions (they hate United with a passion).
Leeds in the EPL next season
I deal boilers sounds like the baggies have moved to Pattaya
West Brom 7 QPR 1
The wally with a brolly now working his magic for Rangers.
Happy days!
I was at our last 7-1 win in 1978 vs Coventry.
