Bob,hardest is to pick 2nd-3rd,hope Winx does it to get three Cox in a row,be a long time till we see that again.
^ Yeah Kingstown Town 1980/81/82.
Two entrants for the Melbourne Cup are US Army Ranger and Who shot the barman.
On to the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday week to see a good race.
Sounding like a broken record about Winx, but she did it again and just broke the course record,Humidor gave it all but Mr Bowman,Winx's jockey knew he had it in the bag.
^ Yeah good race i backed Humidor,Melbourne Cup next tuesday.
My picks
Humidor
Big Duke
Amelie's Star
They should re-name it the International Cup,bit hard to pick a winner when most are overseas horses, you don't see footage of their home runs before coming into
OZ.
But they are all stayers so i will have to burn the midnight oil to pick a also ran as usual.
^ you dont wanna study the form there...its a handicap which are bent as fuck with a lot of those donkeys not running to their potential just to keep their weight down....just stick a pin in it or better still save your money and bet only on the classics
Humidor to win. All up Chicago Bull in Interdominion.
Big Duke 4th
And the Yobs were out.
Looks a great day out
Lloyd Williams has not only the money but the know how to buy the good stayers,6 cups now.
Well deserved win for Rekindling, little less weight helped in running down Johannes Vermeer but you knew he had it soon as he got along side.
Max Dynamite is just too old now,had a few bob on Big Duke,he was best of the rest, bookies cleaned up,nothing unusual there.
Young Joe O'Brien, first time trainer cup entry and wins, good to see the rain held off for it.
0/3 punters lament
On YouTube there's a fantastic documentary on Japanese horse racing. Close links with Australia they have.
I see they're killing a few at Cheltenham this year.
Winx, the wonder horse has broken the record for group 1 wins, passsing the US horse John Henry with 17,
24 wins on the trot, one behind Black Caviar, should equal that in 3 weeks at Randwick.
Wish I owned her,$16-5mil in winnings and millions more at stud.
^Just watched a replay, she didn't blitz them but still did enough to win on what looked like a heavy track. She's now rated as the best race horse in the world, it'll be interesting to see if the owners retire her or take her overseas after she breaks Black Caviar's winning streak record.
^
Heard the owners said after the next race may send her to Europe for a couple of starts
The race was a bit of a battle near the end,bit of push and shove, but when she hit the front she just opens that vital gap and none were good enough
to run her down.
The great mare Winx blitzed the field in the QE Stakes for 25 straight.
200 from home around the outside, then it was put away the glasses, just went passed the rest in cruise mode, great judgement by the jockey.
Last to First,Bowman rode her to perfection.
^Are you on about that Aussie horse or last nights exploits?
^ I'm a married man i don't have exploits anymore.
