    Brazillian Grand Pricks

Is it just me, or do others feel that the last few races were fixed.

Don't you think it strange that Team McLaren were hit with a monster fine and the Drivers nothing, yet it was Lonso who received the e-mails and Dennis took it to the authorities when he knew.

My conspiracy theory reckons that both drivers were allowed to continue under the understanding neither won.

How else can you explain keeping Hamilton out in the rain on unsuitable tyres when any rookie team would have brought him in, in the previous race.

Choosing the wrong tyres again in the race before that.

And this last one, a mystifying failure of some kind, that inexplicably rights itself and a three stopper when he is on a charge, on the second stop, they could have put more petrol in, I reckon they probably did!! and he could have got away with a two stopper.

I was convinced it's all rigged & I said as much yesterday. It's all about the money in F1, but, if it was fixed, surely it would have been to everyone's benefit for Hamilton to win? Young, black, role-models are in big demand these days.

Bernie Ecclestone as about as bent as it gets & that says a lot.

They are not going to have Siverstone again after 2009 unless they spend money they simply don't have

Well you've pretty much put it in a nutshell. Fixing goes on, but for a purpose.
Apart from the sheer unlikelihood of his F1 drivers championship, Raikkonens victory served no purpose beyond that of Ferrari's imo. Hamilton and Alonso were the crowd favourites.
Hence, I don't really think it was deliberately rigged.

Fixed, No way, do you think they would really compromise the millions flowing from the sport to fix races and how would the keep it quiet with 100's of pople in each team?. Way too much risk to do that.
Agree with the bit about the short arsed cvnt tho'

I am not sure how much more credos Hamilton would have gained, even if he had won, he had already done majestically well this, turning over Alonso on more than one occasion.

And as you say Eccles is as bent as a nine bob note, I still say it was fixed.

Doubt a fix was on. Too many people would have had to be involved. After being disqualified in the constructors championship, McLaren had only the drivers championship to make the season a success. Had McLaren been involved with a fix they would not be making a protest regarding "fuel irregularities" to disqualify drivers finishing ahead of Hamilton.

The only thing resembling a "fix" was Massa's sudden inability to outpace Raikkonen sfter the final pit stop.

True, But they put on a good show of it and Raikkonen does seem able to put in some very hot times towards the end of a race. But can't blame Ferrari, they had nothing to gain from Massa winning.

Agree. Raikkonen's in laps were so quick I think he would have beat Massa anyway even if the driver's championship wasn't at stake.

    .
You know and I know and McLaren knows, it will never be upheld.

Although I do agree an inordinate amount of people would have had to be involved, but hey the yanks landed in some Desert and passed it off as the Moon for decades.

its all a huge fix. Too much politics, not enough racing.
What happend to lewis car that as stated just rights its self all of a sudden?
why did the team not put fuel in?
the thing that stands out most for me though is, was ahead of raikonen in the champ. yet not once did we see him pushing to beat him. he just sat back and let him have it.
    just doesnt sit right.

also after the race neither hamilton or alonso, looked in the slightest bit dejected. suerly after a whole yrs work goes up in smoke you would be a little miffed.
