You have to feel sorry for all Australians as they never win anything any more. They are reasonably successful at Aussie Rules but lose at everything else. Clarke won't be sacked this series. If the trend continues and he doesn't score runs we may see him retire after the series. Some are saying his dodgy back means he no longer has the footwork required - if that is true, this series may be his last so time will tell I suppose..

The team has gone through a few changes with Harris gone due to injury, Watson dropped , Haddin left out after choosing to sit out the Lords test due to family reasons and Clarke not being able to buy a run so things have been a little unsettled to say the least.
