    This is excellent.
A crap rugby league thread, doomed to failure has become a very interesting thread about Kiwi immorality in rugby union.

What were those Kiwi brothers names Chuch.
Played about 12-15 years back... scrum half and out half.
    Samoa and N Zealand.
Bashop brothers.Graham, who went to play in and for Japan was one of the better half-backs that we have produced.I think their mother was part Samoan.

    That's right, Cheers Chuch.
    Was driving me spare.
Played for the Samoan team in the 89 world cup.
I was there when they beat Wales.
Feels like yesterday, can't believe it was nearly 20 years ago.

Birtwhistle didn't look like any sort of rugby player to me, bit of a pole compared to most 2nd rows.. bad hair too, reminds me of that new number 4 you have that plays for the Hurricanes and has a mullet.

he was a biggish lad in those days.6'6" and about 16 stone.Played No 8 in club footy.Used to wind him up something fierce before we played him though.Starting a week out before we played him I would leave messages on his phone and get other poeple to call him saying things like "we are going to kick the fcuk out of you sonny if you come anywhere near a ruck etc" Used to work quite well too.Only did it because at No8 he was bloody good in club footy. One game he only went into 3 rucks/mauls....So he ran wide all day and scored two tries against us.

Joeli Vidiri - classic poach, you can't argue that one

and remember the fuss they made about not being able to poach Rupeni.......

Marmite's full of shit though, made his allegation without being able to produce quality facts, his web search told him little else. English rugby supporter, what else can we say??

...of course we know that this is just a wind-up Marmers but two things you need to understand: first boys are queuing up to become an All Black - ain't nobody forcing them...second EVERY kiwi is proud to do the haka when the opportunity presents itself...we are New Zealanders first and foremost...

The haka....the great tradition that even 30 years ago resembled an uncoordinated morris dance where the team members themselves didn't know what to do.

Not that Kiwi's would have seen it, as they didn't even perform it at home.

The Haka is about the All Blacks. Not the opposition. It is not there to intimidate. It is about what it means to be an All Black. It is the All Black culture.

Buck Shelford and Hika Ried were the ones to change how the Haka was done.IEo it ploperly.

Anyway, marmers was trying to have a go about how we plunder the Islands.Perhaps we can now have ago at how the pommies pinch players...
