Assessing the premier league relegation battle

it looks terminal for cardiff to me, especially if we don't change our manager
remains to be seen how far the new manager impetus carries fulham and palace but it's difficult to imagine a pulis side not getting a lot better at not getting beaten

in spite of shifting 100 away goals this season, norwich seem a bit too good once every three games

west ham look abject but i think they'll be ok

    sunderland are probably doomed

west brom are blipping but will no doubt rediscover their form at our place next week and stoke will get enough home points

    sunderland and cardiff are bankers
between palace and fulham for the other spot

    maybe

I can't see Palace going down now they are on a roll with Pulis.
My mate bet 5/2 them staying up 2 weeks ago before this mini revival and i wished i joined him, tough to break down and a no nonsense manager, they will stay up i think.

have you seen cardiff recently chaz???

we have been getting progressively worse

we defend like one of those under 9 games with everybody sliding around in the penalty box

fair enough going out with a hoofball system, ten men quivering behind the ball against the stronger teams but when you refuse to adapt against stoke or villa or palace.......it's distressing

the players can't possibly be enjoying playing the way they are and the root of it is the manager

it's nothing new either, we were equally shit for the most part in the championship

A tough call this season as they are all good teams unlike yesterdays but of all the likeleys i am sure West Ham under that fat horrible gum chewing balloon of a man will go down.
Sorry to all WHU fans but the fat Allaydyce baloon is a chancer that landed on east London with all his bullshit.

I would prefer Hull to go down. Can't stand the smug fat faced git Bruce. He is also licking the foreign owners arse and supporting the name change.

I think Cardiff will stay up. Tan wants to float the club on the Singapore exchange and that means spending in the next window.

doesn't matter what we spend if mackay is in charge

we already overspent on medel, cornelius and to a lesser extent caulker

30 million spunked on that lot

    zero width in the team

all that cash spent and the likes of cowie getting 90 minutes every week

it's a bit of a mess at the moment

Not sure about that, on either count; especially Sunderland.

Not sure about that. They've had a boast for a couple of games, but in a few weeks time...

How about Norwich scum? I really really really hope they go down, with Man U and maybe Liverpool.

Maybe Cardiff, Palace and West Brom?

never really got the dislike for norwich unless you are an ipswich fan

read a post on a football forum describing them as a cancer to the league
i think the poster was a preston fan

    what's wrong with norwich?

very likeable club as far as i can tell

palace have improved radically under pulis......safe

sunderland improving dramatically...possibly safe...tonight's game against stoke might be crucial

cardiff...gone ....unless this batch of new signings can start doing the business against norwich on saturday
fulham and west ham look the most likely other two for the drop to me

    fulham
    cardiff
    west ham

    (stoke as an outsider)
