He also didn't really look too hard with a shit beard and hairstyle to match.

Complete list of cancellations trimmed by what's on EZTV.it. There is actually quite a lot of crap here, and some of it should have been smothered at birth.

Curious if your favorite show will be returning?
here's the list of canceled shows on US Network TV (NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, CW), trimmed to only the shows that EZTV tracks.

    Better with You
    Breaking In
    Brothers & Sisters
    Chaos
    Chase
    Detroit 1-8-7
    Friday Night Lights (ending)
    Hellcats
    Human Target
    Law & Order: LA
    Lie to Me
    Life Unexpected
    Lone Star
    Mad Love
    Medium
    Mr. Sunshine
    My Generation
    No Ordinary Family
    Off the Map
    Outlaw
    Outsourced
    Perfect Couples
    Persons Unknown
    Running Wilde
    Scoundrels
    Shit My Dad Says
    Smallville (ending)
    Supernanny (ending)
    Suspect Behavior
    The Cape
    The Chicago Code
    The Defenders
    The Event
    The Gates
    The Good Guys
    The Whole Truth
    Traffic Light
    Undercovers
    V

    UPDATE 5/22 2AM ET:
    Canceled Cable shows
    Big Love (HBO, ending)
    Caprica (Syfy)
    Dark Blue (TNT)
Entourage (HBO, final season yet to air)
    In Treatment (HBO)
Law & Order: Criminal Intent (USA)
    Lights Out (FX)
    My Boys (TBS)
No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency (HBO, ending) - may return as a pair of movies.
    Party Down (Starz)
    Rubicon (AMC)
Secret Diary of a Call Girl (Showtime, final season now airing)
Stargate Universe (Syfy) - Producers and MGM are looking at possible ways to continue the series in some way.
    Terriers (FX)
    Working Class (CMT)
I'm guessing the ending of Stargate Universe does kind of leave it open for a return at any time.

I downloaded and watched The Power of Nightmares just to see what all the fuss was about. Liked the story of the rise of the neocon ideology but felt that the proposition that Al Queda is a harmless, overhyped myth to be less than convincing. Similar premise to Farenheit 911 but not as well done.

I have no doubt Al Qaida was invented by the Americans, and as it stands is more of a mythical beast than a reality, although certain iconic terrorist leaders have seized on it to give themselves more credibility.

If you bracket all the financiers with the terrorist organisations that they fund and call them "Al Qaida" it sounds good, but the reality is that they are not the organisation that lying wankers like Cheney and Rumsfeld would have had us believe.

But you're right, it was a disappointing trio of programmes.

I did like Inside Job, but those in power are too entrenched, and the people too weak to make any difference any more.

Look for a series called Banged Up Abroad (or in some territories, Locked Up Abroad).

Frightening stuff. The boy locked up in Kuwait is one lucky S.O.B.

He then caught Aids in Bang Kwang through sharing needles, injecting Smack, and is back in Aus now after a Kings Pardon, Maybe dead now, but good viewing

The two English lads in Venezuela was a bit scary as well. One of them was going a bit mental before they were released on license and escaped home via Bogota.

NAAK a.k.a Deep In The Jungle (2009)

"Nawin (Jesdaporn Pholdee), an army secret service agent decides to withdraw from a scientific investigation because of unlawful procedures involving International Forces. Although he has tried desperately to avoid the illegal acts of the armed forces, it seems the harder he tries the more involved he becomes. He is constantly under surveillance no matter where he goes or what he does which makes him realize there is more to the situation than that meets the eye. Jin (Ploy Jindachote), a young woman whom Nawin once saved from a brutal attack, is undergoing a strange transformation within her body as her blood circulates through mutation. This transformation on Jin is what Nawin believes the International Forces are after, the half breed mix between animal and human. Nawin decides to help Jin by taking her back to her birth place. As he leads her home, her illness seems to subside. They will soon grow close and fall in love. "

BBC iPlayer - All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace: Love and Power

"A series of films about how humans have been colonised by the machines they have built. Although we don't realise it, the way we see everything in the world today is through the eyes of the computers.

This is the story of the dream that rose up in the 1990s that computers could create a new kind of stable world. They would bring about a new kind global capitalism free of all risk and without the boom and bust of the past. They would also abolish political power and create a new kind of democracy through the internet where millions of individuals would be connected as nodes in cybernetic systems - without hierarchy.

The film tells the story of two perfect worlds. One is the small group of disciples around the novelist Ayn Rand in the 1950s. They saw themselves as a prototype for a future society where everyone could follow their own selfish desires. The other is the global utopia that digital entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley set out to create in the 1990s. Many of them were also disciples of Ayn Rand. They believed that the new computer networks would allow the creation of a society where everyone could follow their own desires, yet there would not be anarchy. They were joined by Alan Greenspan who had also been a disciple of Ayn Rand. He became convinced that the computers were creating a new kind of stable capitalism - "Like a New Planet", he said.

But the dream of stability in both worlds would be torn apart by the two dynamic human forces - love and power."

Interesting view on the financial and technology near past.

I enjoyed it. Kind of went off the beaten track, but it was interesting how it linked China buying US bonds and overinflating the US economy, and it's subsequent crash, as payback for what the US/World Banks/IMF did to SEA 10 years earlier.

I'll be interested in the programmes take on the growth of online communities.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

^^ incidentally, there is an e-G8 meeting happening in Paris where all the big wigs have been invited to discuss the future of Internet

Sarko, the turd, and heading the meeting, has been advocating a non-neutral Internet, that is a regulated Internet

no more freedom, no more digital dream

Just the way you seem to be easily confused with English not being your native tongue. Just curious if you have really understood what you watched, or maybe just thought you did.

The recent Saturday Night Live episode with Helen Mirren hosting is hilarious. Especially the Fox News spoof.
