I use PB exclusively now, and would like to have a back-up. I use EZTV for TV series, but it doesn't do movies.

I had Lime Torrents for a bit, but the format sucks.

They went through a phase of opening an advert on any other click, but I suspect that was possibly down to a hijack, since they don't do it any more.

Not a popup and no adblocker would stop it.

For just simple TV shows, Chicago PD is entertaining. There are three spin-offs - Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago Justice. I didn't like Med or Fire, but the recently started Justice is thus far really good - better than PD.

Also thanks to all who recommended torrent sites - I now have three back-up sites if/when PB dies. Appreciated.

Typical Woody Allen script. Jews, gangsters, love triangles, some good characters.

Jesse Eisenberg would have been played by Allen in his younger days.

All the way- with LBJ, his struggle to get the civil rights act passed. Some amazingly good acting along with some not so good casting, King was especially unconvincing. Cranstons portrayal of LBJ is the sort of quality acting that should land Oscars, remarkable performance. History would have had a bettr opinion of him but for Vietnam which is hardly mentioned in the film. He was a ruthless bastard of course in real life, and another presidential adulterer who even had a kid with his mistress, mildly touched on in the film. 9/10 for me, riveting stuff, be interested to hear from people who remember it at the time, Davis? Who would have thought it was many Democrats who fought so hard to stop the civil rights act.

I was scrolling through a load of downloads and came across Cardinal.

A very well crafted 6 x 40 mins.

A murder mystery involving cops in Algonquin Bay, almost like the bastard love child of True Detective and Fargo (the movie).

Starts with the discovery of the body of a young girl and just gathers momentum from there. Well written (and acted) characters and nicely paced.

7/10.

Kevin Bacon in 'Death Sentence' (2007)

He's a mean muthafucka. Goes up against a gang who killed his family. Story is hardly rocket science but worth watching for sure. John Goodman has a great extended cameo role.

Just woke up after I fell asleep during 'Above the Rim' Shame really but if it was as riveting as the reviews claimed, I'd have remained awake.
