    Soundbars vs speaker set

I want to get some speakers for a big LCD and I thought maybe a soundbar

thinking the price would be 2-3k baht for a basic but serviceable unit - but

    ??????????

    5k up to 100+ k

    wtf ??

why should I spend the extra and not just buy a set of AJ speakers with a remote control ?

Buy the speakers if you have the space.

I have the TV hooked to the aux part of my surround sound DVD system. It's not had a dvd in it in years, but works a treat as a TV sound system.

A few months back I went out to buy one of those Jawbone Bluetooth speakers.

Never go shopping when you're drunk, I came back with this:

I'm looking at the same thing as Baldy but not sure which way to go.

    The Smart bar seems plausible.

Cracked on to this Philips HTL 2163b-12. 120Watt with Sub woofer. Nice kit.

6 K BHT in my local but 5350 BHT on Lazada.

Sweet sound at a OK price.

    Still thinkin.

the problem is when you plug in the 3.5mm plug the remote does not control the speakers anymore

I just bought a 790 baht pair of AJ from tesco with no remote

maybe I will have to look at an amp with remote

Check out the Sound bar I posted up.

You can plug in a USB, it has a remote and pumps out great sound.

Also can go bigger Watts if you want for extra Baht.

I want it for music on my PC.

    Hey Baldy,

Check out " Live at Darryl's House " on Utube.

    You will like that.

There is one thing for certain mate, one can never get a quality sound for a budget price.

When it comes to sound quality I never compromise on price to save buks.

Get the good gear once and revel in the quality sound.
