So, as recounted in another thread, I spent last weekend in Pattaya. Late Saturday night, after a lengthy session of alcohol, a buddy and his wife took me to 'Indian By Nature' as a curry was called for. Didn't have my reading glasses with me, however, an option was a 'tasting menu' with a variety of dishes which filled the bill more than adequately. Can't remember even getting there, but I do recall enjoying the food.

Damn right it does. I can see that restaurant from home and have only ever been once about 10 years ago, had a very bad experience and never returned (you can easily do that in Pattaya, I can get to about 50 Indian restaurants from home within 5-25 minutes so putting just 1 of them on perma-ban isn't a problem).

Pag's photo make me want to give it another go, I'd order exactly what he had.

Early dinner on the beach in Rayong today.

I was glad that for once a reasonable amount of food came, to suit my new 'lifestyle'...

Crabs, sea bass and prawn cakes.



Then along came the tom yam...



And along came the garlic clams...



Stuffed now.

Mendip what was the damage? that's about the spread we normally have

This was 1800 Baht (with a couple of large Leos), and was more than enough for the three of us. With extra rice at least half was packed to take away and will do another meal tomorrow.

The family just love seafood. I can take it or leave it to be honest and as luck would have it, there was a small shop selling pies just opposite. Got meself a steak and kidney for tomorrow.

Three people??? Fuk me, that's about 4 crabs each before you get into the other food...
