So I had Korean all you can eat BBQ earlier this week so I decided to keep all my food posts in the same theme since I love Korean even though some here like to slag it off.
Went to a Korean Burger and fried chicken joint it was actually very nice. Far better than that KFC shit some of you eat.
I didn't want to start a new thread so decided to just chuck this here..
Homemade Kimchi. The red thing on the lid is a nipple that vents gas. Super easy thing that the lady bought on Amazon.

^ very nice
Last nights leftover Beef tenderloin salad
Downloaded that gcam Snub. Huge difference although gotta wait an age for it to take the picture
^ that looks nice.
Korean's do Fried Chicken very well; an American told me the other day that Mom's Touch is a copy of Popeye's (never tried it or heard of it, so I can't say), and it's a lot better than KFC; cheaper, better quality ingredients, better presentation, just tastes a lot better.
Your burger looks pretty nice, you won't find a Korean made burger in Korea that good (other than some expensive Seoul restaurants); Korean burgers are terrible. Burger King is a lot better than the local efforts.
Cycling should be banned!!!
I like bon chon chicken, but they only do drumsticks with either that red hot bbq chili sauce or a sweet garlic option.
If they took the chili out of the bbq sauce it would be perfect
Deep fried chicken with deep fried potatoes v deep fried chicken with deep fried potatoes. Conditioned to eat fried food. Consider the sauce.
I'm trying out my new Jeff Sock App.
I thought it was your Ray sock
I'm just glad it wasn't Klongy's sock...
Ya it is a damn fine app. Make sure you turn on HDR+ for that extra magic and yes that pic looks way better then you older stuff.
We have lots of Korean chicken joints around here.
Well most of the Koreans here have been around for awhile so the kids/grandkids are fully Americanized so they know what a good burger should taste like. Interesting to hear that the Korean food here in some cases has evolved from the home country and from what it sounds like to me is that was a good thing.
Bit of a strange combo for late lunch / early dinner today, roast pork belly on coconut cream spinach.
Tasted better than it looks
I stopped going to Siamsburis a few months ago because the pack of dogs behind the school had moved onto Khao Talo and it just wasn't safe to walk up the hill any more. Then there was the promise of All Dee or whatever the name was at the bottom of the hill and that seems to have died a death...
Next time you are up that way can you check out the dog situation for me please????...I need some cheese....and hopefully Basset Allsorts if I'm lucky...
