Thread: A remarkable recipe from abroad

Why not try a wonderfully unhealthy farang dish from the Uk? It's called 'Toad in The Hole'. Mix flour, eggs and milk until light and fluffy. That bit is more or less Yorkshire pudding. Stick a few raw sausages in the gunk, season and cook in a conventional oven until it rises, light, crisp and brown. My missus tried it and wrecked the oven.

Let's just say keen! A touch too much of all the ingredients kinda exploded.

I would fry the sausages beforehand, pink sausages do not do it for me.

I know.... it's going to get nasty now.

Further evidence that the best of British cuisine is a ploughmans lunch.
