Slice n dice while yer water boils.
Chuck in yer pan and fry on medium just as you chuck yer spaghetti in.
Then whack that baby on full-blast with less than a minute to go.
Drain yer spaghetti and chuck the pan in a large bowl.
Mix in yer spaghetti.
Plate, then grate on yer cheese, toss on yer ripped basil, and drizzle on some olive oil.
Delisherous.
Wham, bam, thank you maam, 15 minutes from fridge to table.
Some appetising threads for just before dinner.
Always mix your noodles in the pan you fried your stuff in, give a toss and a minute or three and then plate. The noodles absorb the pan juices that way...
Just sayin' like, it looks great. Corn in a salad though....I'm not to sure about that...
Brilliant. Carbonara pomodora? Far be it for me to give you advice but I've found that if you take the spaghetti out a minute before it's ready and throw it in the pan with the rest (and a little spaghetti water) and finish it like that the spaghetti itself absorbs the flavours. it really takes it to the next level.

^ made me smile.
As side note, assuming it's tonight's nosh ... I thought you were off carbs and the cardboard plonk till later in the week?
Yup.
3am Monday morning - 4pm Monday afternoon is strictly no carbs or alcohol.
Paranoid Lulutards are the 2nd most amusing type.
Brilliant Lulu!
Your display of "sauce-less" pasta entrees seems to shine.
My preference as well....less heavy shit.
Cheers!!
