So, seafood broil and barbecue fest it is.
Meh. I will miss my turkey though....
The traditional goose as always. But we are getting older and lazier. Instead of a whole bird just 2 legs and the breast. No need to cut it and it is ready much faster.
yesterdays xmas dinner trial run
and my friends
Big gay footsies under the table I reckon.
Huntsman at Landmark?
50% off on Eatigo?
If it was, went there 2 years back. Paid about 2k a head for Xmas day (no discount).
Going to my nephew's. There will be 13 adults, one toddler and one baby. And two dogs. I have offered to peel the tatties, they live five minutes from my Mum so i can take them down by foot. My mum always makes the trifle. Should be fun!!
Traditional turkey feast.
I won't be in Thailand until 23rd so not long to get food in. I will see what I can find and cook accordingly. Wife wants a turkey with all the trimmings but a leg of lamb would be nice.
Failing that it will BBQ time with some sirloin steak for me and whatever I can fish out of the pond for the family....
New Year is the main event with a party for 50+ and several kitchens and cooks. Ready plucked BBQ duck is my usual ... in an orange and white wine sauce.
Don’t really do Christmas but if weather permits:
On the beach at Pak Men or Koh Lanta. Pigging out on oysters, prawns and whatever else the wife decides to order… wiggling our toes in the sand and sipping 711 Aussie wines…as the sun sinks in the west….
Probably on Phuket for new year..French mate no doubt will buy a suckling pig for BBQ plus a side of lamb ++++_...
Boiled turkey egg and soldiers.
