Will be doing up a selection of Bruschetta tonight.
Plain.
Bacon.
Cheese.
Cheese & Bacon.
Pesto Alla Genovese
Pesto Alla Genovese & Bacon.
Served with Bacon Linguine.
Step one:
Add a food processor....

Soak the cherry tomatoes in warm water while prepping the rest.
Add salt to taste.
Both into the fridge and time for step 2.
This is my favorite part.
Step 2:
Drink wine.
Step 3 will be cook the linguine, slice and fry the bacon, slice up the baguette, brush it with olive oil and toast in the oven.
Lightly fry a small amount of shallots and garlic, add to the cooked linguine, along with the pesto and fried bacon.
Load up the Bruschetta with the various toppings. Drink more wine.
Everything is better with bacon.
