    Quick and satisfying meal

Too hot and lazy to cook much?
    A quick and satisfying meal:
Three egg omelet …Squid egg or…and spring onion (onion tree to Thais) . Side dish/bowl of chopped cucumber ,garlic, onion, little Thai red onion , sweet chili, hot chili and few ounces of vinegar.
Even we stupid Farang can manage this much methinks.

Now I know the fries are frozen, but it says quick and tasty meal, plus its a large portion. 15 minutes here. I have it about once a month to balance out my bacon cheeseburger meal.

I make 2 one is in the oven wrapped in foil staying warm. The fries are in the oven not covered. Hot food is better in my opinion. One thing the Thai's just dont understand.

Dim sum great, takes me back to great meals in SF and Vancouver before it was trendy...

Now the Isaan is presented beautifully with the two large haw's of KauNeow. But the dishes are too real for me. I dont begrudge those that eat and enjoy real Isaan, in fact I am in awe. For me exotic is a few extra pricky new chillies in my somtam. Add to that some barbecued chicken, a nice fish lahb, and some grilled pig jowls or kor mu yang and I am in heaven. Far prefer it to the Thai and Thai Chinese dishes.

As long as it's proper cheese and not that kraft whatever it is posing as cheese.

I've heard Velveeta is the best for that type of application.

    Cheese 'n toast, indeed...

    quick and satisfying snack/meal?

quaker oat porridge, a thick mix using full fat milk, spread generously over hot buttered wholewheat toast and sprinkled with raisins and powdered cinnamon.

it is heaven on a plate.

dont knock it until youve tried it.

if you dont like wholewheat, you can use rye or multiseed bread.

needs to be a thick slice though so that when its picked up it doesnt sag under the weight of the porridge.

goes great with a mug of strong tea.
