Mc99's 5 Napkin, Two Hand Mega Beef Burger!

Today I give you a secret from the deepest bowels of the Mc99's food science laboratory.
It is......how to make the perfect hamburger/hotdog bun using only ingredients and appliances supplied by savages!

    In a bowl, dry mix;

3.5 cups of plain flour (makes 4 mega burger rolls)
    1 tablespoon of instant yeast
    1.25 teaspoons of salt
    .25 cup of sugar

Add i beaten egg and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
Slowly add up to a cup of warm water as you mix.

End result should clean the bowl and clump to the spoon, slightly tacky.
Flour a board and knead for 10 minutes.
let it rest until doubled in size.
    Gently flatten and cut.
Cut as desired and flatten on a floured try to a 4 inch disk.
Let it rest about an hour.
    Paint with melted butter.
Bake at 200 for 15-20 minutes in a pre heated toy oven..

    And......

    Behold!

The 5 Napkin, Two Hand Mega Beef Burger.
Mayo, Lettuce, Onion Relish, Chili Cajun Beef Burger, Tasty Cheese, Runny Egg and Tomato. All on a home made bun!

    Only at your nearest Mc99's!

Oi points taken off for frozen fries!!! Now let me ponder the burger. First of all the home made mega bun is a good idea. But is it a rock or nice. Any shots of a bun cut in half?

Just noticed no cooking and no burger shot so its now 7/10. Could be minus more points for the possible fake juice running out of the burger, looks a lot like plain old chilli sauce.

I've got to agree with AO....there's details missing, critical details that Mc99's cracked research staff would have never overlooked.

It is almost cake like in it's softness because of the egg. But firm enough to hold a messy burger. This is instant yeast mind you, not dry active.
Can lessen or leave out the sugar if you want as Marblight points out.

Trade secrets these are.....I dare say if you make this recipe bread, you would never buy burger rolls or hot dog buns again. That's my challenge and a Mc99's promise!

Yes Fair enough, it is well solid, the chips threw me off but even they look OK on closer inspection.

Cant argue with the great English Breakfast though EH. Absolute shite and a heart attack waiting to happen.

    Your food is Ok though.

    Cheers.

    ^ ^

Albert, It must be the most seriously plate of dogs vomit that has graced this Earth .

Its simply discussing and made for Pommy tossers who have never been versed in a healthy breakfast.

Look Albert, I can understand that it it would be good when one is suffering from a god dam awful hangover but for the normal breakfast you must be taking the piss ?

Fucking cancer on a plate made for fat Pommy fuks who call Ubon Thani Home.

    OMFG!!

Questioning the integrity of the Mc99's Food Science Laboratory Standards!!

Here's two half sized buns at the pre-bake stage as proof.

I burnt those, thus leading to my ground breaking insight into the operational thermodynamics of my toy oven and the development of the Mega Burger Bun...

Just for that, I'm going to start a pie thread next, the Mc99's pie thread to end all pie threads!
