    Bloody ticks!!!

We have a large garden, about an acre, lawns, shrubs, trees, flowers. All our dogs are coming in with a lot of ticks on them just now. Can anyone recommend any spray/powder that can be put down in the garden and around the house to keep the ticks down? Needs to be safe for the dogs though.

    Cheers in advance.

Not sure if it works for ticks, but we give our dog some medicine once a month that keeps the bugs off. Don't know the name of it but your local vet should have it.

Really, well this is the 3rd or 4th thread on this subject and there is lots of info in the others.

And Dyazinon has worked for me every where I have needed Fleas or Ticks killed in my yards, but that info is in the other threads if I remember correctly.

But we did use some other stuff, but I don't know if it worked and I can't remember the name of it.

Hi Haggis, This has been a problem for me in past threads, with lots of ideas now it is under control I finally got the tablets i had used with no probs before they are :- En-Dex 4000 for the dogs, i advise you give them a stronger dose just maybe half a tablet extra each. Treat your garden with vinegarand water as NR said 50/50 and spray your dogs as well no probs. Hope this helps Cheers
