| The Dog | Nong Khai Wat Poo Chai Wat Poo Chai Temple is at the back of the bus station in Nong Khai behind the market, from what I understand it is quite a big meditation center and also has a big beasty Buddha statue whose head is made of solid gold, damn sure I couldn't find the bloody thing though, probably under lock and key judging by the sort of expats living there I suppose, anybody seen texpat lately? Anyway here is the main temple. Front entrance. Doors all locked to keep the marauding scum out. ![]() Couple of the other buildings in the complex. The meditation training center?
