Thread: Kwae Noi

Ever been there? I bet some of you have. This train station is outside of P-Lok on the way to CM country.


So what is the big deal? Imagine you are a young student on the way to school when all of a sudden you see a low flying plane. Then the bombing begins. That is what these elderly gentleman experienced.

You see that bridge in the background? The Americans were trying to destroy it to prevent the Japanese from using it to transport goods.


Thus explains why the locals respect/hate Kwae Noi. Everthing was destroyed including the bridge and surrounding community. The only thing left intact? This US bomb that did not explode.
