At the weekend the island is rammed full of Chinese Russians and Thais especially on the main beaches where the ferry docks near..
There are quieter beaches if you wanna get a motobike taxi which is what i usually do.

Pattaya is what is it.. but its ok if you just wanna nice hotel and go to the island at the weekend

National holiday this week, apparently.

Must be something going round. I hope you ain't got what I just had. I had a chest infection for 3 weeks and have just got rid. I tried to battle it without antibiotics at first and sure it turned into pleuracy. I couldn't lie down to sleep the one night there was that much pressure on my ears, throat and lungs. I bought some antibiotics in a pharmacy and they did nothing for it so it was probably viral.

it took alternative meds and a good piss up to get rid of it in the end.

Indeed. I am hawking up gobs of green stuff at the moment. Nasty something going around. Hope I can kick it without medicating.

There’s a gastric flu knocking around. Nearly everyone in the house has had it. Two days of headache coughing and throwing up, then right as rain.

Was on the baht bus going up beach road and there's this Argentinian/Iranian opposite me cracking nuts open, eating the nut and chucking the shell over his shoulder into the traffic and passengers in the baht bus next to us. I couldn't help but laugh .. He glares at me for a second and says "they nice where you from"..
he hands me something in my hand and they are pistachios and sunflower seeds and i later find out he's from Argentina with an Iranian dad and he supports Manchester city.

It wasn't the actions that made me laugh the most though.. It was the Ruskie tourist lady next to him.. He was also accumulating nut shells in a little pile next to him and her on the bench.. Her face was priceless.
