    Jim Thompson's House

In the end, I have visited Jim Thompson's house which is not far from the national stadium skytrain station.

I think most of you know his story already, for who that still don't know about him yet, you can visit this website. Jim Thompson Life & Legend

I just bough a new camera though, it's Casio EX-S770 7.2 Mega Pixels with len 6.2-18.6mm and 3x optical zoom which is not bad for someone like me who don't like to carry a big camera while we travel. This one is quite small and lovely for me.

Anyway, let's see the pictures that I took.

These piccies are way too large but I don't want you guys missed the quality of them.

So welcome to The Jim Thompson House!

The garden here is pretty green. I like it.

Let's see what the house looks like.

Unfortunately, tourists are not allowed to take the photos inside the house so I just have the environment memory there for you guys.

    Let's see flowers then.

And end up with some more garden.. I know it's quite boring but.. c'mon.. have a look.

I hope you all enjoy these greenie piccies though.

    Cheers,
    GoW

Thanks GOW, any reason why photographs are not allowed inside the house?

    BTW flowers show.

Her camera was 11,000 Baht (with an extra battery) and she bought it from Panthip (2nd floor UK, left side just round the corner).

^ 7.2 mexapixel for 11K (with extra bat)....in regards to prices in the USA and even in the UK, that sounds quite cheap...

Agreed. And, when you're done walk back behind the house to Klang Saen Sap and take a river taxi somewhere. Lots of interesting sights along the way. (You can either go east toward lower Sukhumvit or west toward Democracy Monument.)
