    ^ That was just arriving there and paying a rack rate at a decent place without any booking in advance 3 years ago... Wouldn't make the same mistake again.

    I thought it was good value at 3000 a night on this trip.

    I too, like Hat Kai Bae. That is where I stay. White Sands is too crowded, too many Russians as well.

    Nice one koh Chang looks a great place, was mostly spending time in Samui, koh phangan & phi phi so xmas time planning to go to koh chang does anyone know what it is like at xmas time?

    Between Nov and March is the busy time if I remember rightly. Had enough of the place personally. But living there, as I did is a very different feeling to visiting.

    Ah cheers thanks so it generally the same as the rest of Thailand so with busy season and that. Ah ya living and visiting a place can defo have mixed feelings all right.
