Ban Amphur Beach

Ban Amphur is about 15kms from Pattaya and 15kms the other way from Sattahip and the next main tourist beach along from Bang Saray, as you can see in the pictures it's not a very long beach and has a lack of tourists, beach is pretty clean though.

The main reason people go to Ban Amphur is for the Thai sea food restaurants, quite a few fishing boats here so the food is pretty fresh.

The beach and some of the condos.

Soi dogs relaxing in the morning sun on the beach.

Deck chairs and umbrellas, this is where all the open air Thai food stalls are.

A few rubber rings and thats about the only commercialised activity on this beach.

The Thai food stalls, loads of car parking here but busy in the evenings and weekends.

One of the bigger sea food restaurants, think there are about 3 that are on or next to the beach.

Some of the fishing boats, think this one is being rebuilt or renovated.

This fishing boat needs rebuilding.

Tad expensive on their deposits.

Quote:
300 / 350 euros / week, depending on the period requested

Guarantee deposit 1250 €. Deposit 100 % of the rental.

Maybe it's a misprint like this one

"15 kilometres from Pattaya. 100 kilometres from Jomtien. 15kilometres from Sattahip. "

I can attest to the great tasting seafood prepared at the various restuarants there.

Found this beach quite by accident my last time in town... Quiet, quaint and clean... Something unheard of along the beach in Patts and to a degree Jomtien...

Yeh....BamAmPur is great. I used to go to the Malabar quite often and there's a great seafood restaurant at the South end next to a Klong full of fishing boats. Very picturesque.

and that has got to be one of the cleanest beaches ever, probably will change now that you've posted a thread about it.
