Am flying to Melbourne to go offshore. I need to buy 250g of rolling tobacco to go offshore with. Anybody know if Melbourne has a duty free shop on arrival?

yep they sure do, right in the middle of the concourse just in front of immigration. you cannot help but walk right through the middle of it, no matter if you want to or not!

BTW - its bladdy freezing there this time of year! (single digit temperatures during some days! )

Yeah, I know. Spent yesterday buying long trousers and log-sleeved shirts.
There is something intrinsicly wrong in a place being cold in June / july.

Thanks for the replies, I arrive at just after midnight. Hope the duty free place is open.

many places will be closed, but the duty free opens for about 30 mins after a plane lands, and then closes again.

Can't you get it flying out of Bangkok or are you leaving from Phuket?
