Thread: Body of 5-year-old girl found in fertilizer bag

A 5-year-old girl was found murdered and her body stuffed inside a fertilizer bag dumped at a septic tank in Srisawat district of Kanchanaburi province yesterday (Sunday).

Initial examination showed she was slashed on the throat and had died 6-8 hours before her body was found at the tank of a deserted house in Tambon Thakradarn.

The girl’s mother told Srisawat police investigators that she returned home after work at 6.00pm but didn’t see her daughter.

Relatives in her vicinity later told her that the kid was not seen since noon yesterday.

She and relatives later searched the vicinities until the kid was found murdered and body stuffed inside the fertilizer bag at the septic tank, about 100 metres from her house.

Neighbours told police they suspected a mentally sick man who disappeared after the finding of the kid’s body.

Police are summoning the man’s 25-year-old brother for questioning.

Murder suspect of a 5-year-old girl arrested


A 25-year-old neighbour was arrested by Srisawat district police in Kanchanaburi province last night (Sept 4) for suspected murder of a 5-year-old girl.

The girl’s body was stuffed in fertilizer bag and dumped near a septic tank of a deserted house located just 100 metres from her house.

A combined force of police, border police and soldiers combed the area near the murder scene last night after suspecting her neighbour Anusorn Saipin might be a suspect as he went missing from home after the body of the girl was found.

The search went on until daybreak and he was found hiding in undergrowth of the scene.

His mother told police that his son is addicted to drugs and has turned mentally sick.

Witnesses earlier told police he was the last person seen to be with the girl on September 3 before she went missing.

Police have charged him for murder, and attempt to hide or dispose of the body of the victim.

Alleged murderer of a five-year old girl claimed he was frightened by her

The Kanchanaburi provincial court on Wednesday (Sept 6) ordered a man allegedly slit the throat of a five-year old girl to death detained for 12 days pending police further investigation into the case.

The suspect, 24-year old Anusorn “Benz” Saipin, reportedly told police inquiry officers after he was arrested on Tuesday (Sept 5) that he killed her because the girl frightened him when she got into his house while he was sleeping.

He told police that he woke up and thought the girl was a spirit that came to take his life.

Mr Anusorn said the girl ran into the kitchen. He followed her and slashed her throat with a kitchen’s knife.

He added that he washed the blood-stained floor and put the victim’s body into a fertilizer bag and dumped it near a septic pond in the neighbourhood of his house in Srisawat district of Kanchanaburi.

The girl’s body was found on Sept 3.

Pol Lt-Gen Sutthipong Wongpin, commissioner of Region 7 Provincial Police Bureau, said he had instructed police handling the case to gather as much evidence as possible to make a solid case.

Three charges were leveled by the police against the suspect which include premeditated murder, hiding the victim’s body to cover up the crime and carrying weapon in public.
