Suicidal Man Jumps in Front Train, Only to Survive Unharmed

NAKHON SAWASN -Thai National Supakorn Trakulkaew, 35, who attempted to commit suicide by jumping in front of an oncoming train escaped with minor scratches and bruises in Nakhon Sawan’s Takhli district, Friday.

Local police reported that while the Sila-ard-Bangkok passenger train was pulling into the Takhli railway station around 12.30pm, Mr. Supakorn Trakulkaew suddenly jumped in front of the train in a full view of other passengers.

The force of the impact threw his body in the middle of the tracks. The train driver immediately stopped the train and staffers helped remove Mr Supakorn from the tracks. He sustained minor bruises on his legs and chest and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Buntham Trakulkaew, his father who arrived at the railway station, told police that his son had a mental problem and had to take medicine regularly. Two days ago, Mr Supakorn told him that he wanted to commit suicide, said Mr Buntham, adding he had consoled his son not to take his own life.

For the suicidalist it's hard lines that he failed.
On the other hand, his father was chuffed to bits that he survived.
