    Absolutely No tourism to Turkey.
No imports from Turkey (chicken, fruit etc.)
All Turks had to leave the country (students, workers)
    etc.

The LORD set out his and Russia's dream some years ago. The dream was to connect Vladivostok with Lisbon and all points in between. He and the Chinese are working to achieve that dream. Will they succeed, who knows.

The inclusive, peaceful route is what most men, woman and children desire not the ameristani and it's vassals monolithic, brutal stone age.

He has certainly turned Russia around, Chinese leaders similarly who have raised more people out of poverty in a short time than any other country.

The ameristani circus continues but weakens every day it fights itself. The EU may change for the better. The UK is taking it's control back in small chunks. NATO is dead, ameristan boasts of "winning" more wars after pissing around for decades. They certainly leave their shit everywhere.

But hey as the image says, ameristan can and continues to kill anybody, anytime, anywhere.

It seems this alternate route has little support here on TD but maybe some will eventually see the light. But as a Chinese leader once said, "It's too early to say".

Not unhinged. A rather clever politician. He has managed to gain near absolute power thru creation of domestic crisis such as the recent "military coup" and elimination of any political opposition. The diplomatic flare up with the Dutch is all about his gaining more power at home.

Empowered by the deals to keep refugees from pouring into the EU he has a fair amount of leverage. Europe could end his nonsense by simply taking a tough stance as Russia did. Impose high import tariffs and let him know he can do whatever he cares to with his refugees. A bit of pain for Europe but do nothing and things will get worse. Coddling Erdogan is not the way to go.

So starving people to death by sanctions is one of your suggestions. Number two is to allow him to turn the rest into soap. Seems somebody tried that, allegedly, back in the 1930's. Didn't that mindset start a world war?

I was under the impression that those poor defenseless refugees, their pregnant wives and 16 year old daughters was what they were protecting. Have I been mislead by a lying politician again?

Err..no. No mention of sanctions. Import tariffs on Turkish goods going to Europe. Same sort of thing your hero Putin did.

And so the war of words continues.

    Tusk on Erdogan ...

Top EU officials have backed the Netherlands in its row with Turkey, with Donald Tusk slamming Ankara’s comparisons of the Dutch with fascists as “completely detached from reality,” and Jean-Claude Juncker warning the comments “distance” Turkey from EU membership.

Turkish minister on the Netherlands ...

Turkish minister claims 'holy wars will soon begin in Europe

Minister claims there is no difference between liberal politicians and 'fascist' far-right leader

A Turkish minister has claimed "holy wars will soon begin" in Europe, in spite of the defeat of far-right leader Geert Wilders in the Netherlands elections.

Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkey’s foreign minister, did not welcome the victory for Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s centre-right People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD).

“Now the election is over in the Netherlands...when you look at the many parties you see there is no difference between the social democrats and fascist Wilders,” he said according to a translation by Hurriyet.

“All have the same mentality. Where will you go? Where are you taking Europe? You have begun to collapse Europe. You are dragging Europe into the abyss. Holy wars will soon begin in Europe.”

The stupid sh*t has shown his (and Turkey's) hand.

Time to kick Turkey out of NATO and deport the Turks from Europe.

If the EU don't cancel Turkey's application to join they will look like spineless whelks.

I think even the orange-faced wanker could score points here by demanding their expulsion from NATO.

I much prefer "we must resist the urge to falsify and fictionalise as it serves only to highlight our ignorance and pettiness". Mind you, I can see why you wouldn't like that one.

Sayyid Qutb's insightful response: "Indeed our words will remain lifeless, barren, devoid of any passion, until we die as a result of these words..."

...don't take the quote to heart, however...

Turkey has threatened, again, to scrap the EU-Turkey migrant deal

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe...eporting-story

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to tear up a key migrant deal with the European Union.

He said the EU could "forget about" Turkey re-admitting failed asylum seekers who had reached Europe via Turkey, a key part of the agreement.

Mr Erdogan also said the EU's top court was leading a "crusade" against Islam.

President Erdogan said the EU had broken its promise of granting visa-free travel to Turks.

"Now they say readmission. What readmission? Forget about it," he said.

"You don't let my minister into the Netherlands. You revoke the landing rights of my foreign minister. You prevent [us] holding meetings at the General Consulate building, which is my land. But after that you'd expect us to do this [re-admit migrants]. That's not going to happen."

On Wednesday Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Turkey could immediately stop implementing the agreement if it wanted to, echoing previous threats made by the Turkish government.

And .... An Imam close to Erdogan has called for Turkey to have nuclear weapons.

Erdogan Imam calls for NUCLEAR weapons NOW amid tensions with EU

TURKEY should ignore rules set by ‘the West’ and build its own NUCLEAR WEAPONS - an Imam close to president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has advised - as the fallout between Brussels and Ankara deepens

Hayrettin Karaman, the Turkish AK Party’s go-to religious leader, attacked ‘the West’ in a letter which insisted Erdogan should immediately invest in weapons of mass destruction.

In the online post the imam accused Christian countries in the West of egotism and racism - stating the bad attitude towards Turkey has been “accelerated”.
