So, who here thinks that right about in a hour, when trump wakes up, he'll be looking in the mirror at his cock?
Earl's the type who posts about his 'conquests' of prostitutes and how the women he pays for sex actually enjoy it so he probably has a vested interest in the Stormy Daniels expose.Originally Posted by raycarey

Trump on Florence: 'One of the wettest we've ever seen, from the standpoint of water'
^ Just his illiteracy showing. "wettest in regard to water"? Geez
Franklin Roosevelt: The only thing to fear is, fear itself
Abraham Lincoln: Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it
Donald Trump: One of the wettest we've ever seen from the standpoint of water
It will be interesting to see where the Kavanaugh nomination ends up. That party boy is lap dog for Trump and he has a past history of siding with corporations in pollution suits, has leanings toward taking away women's rights with his religious beliefs, and would certainly help out the orange one when the rule of law catches up with him. Conservatives are in tizzy to get him in, although it is appearing more and more that he has committed perjury.
You Make Your Own Luck
He will be confirmed. That is a certainty. The dems are focused on energizing female voters for the mid terms. If the dems cannot win some gavels back in the mid terms it is all over. This is the price we pay for losing elections.
Kavanaugh was a hard right, conservative Christian political operative. His testimony was evasion from start to finish. Roe v. Wade will be overturned. Trump will be protected by the court if any serious challenges arise.

I'm not so sure, especially after Trump's victim-shaming Dr Blasly-Ford. Even that woman from Maine, Collins, lashed out angrily at Trump, telling the orange wanker that sexual assault is the most under-reported crime in the US when Trump tweeted that Ford should have reported the crime back when it happened (thereby implyiing it didn't happen).
Republican politics defies common sense. There is no outcome possible that would not confirm Kavanaugh given the numbers. It would take a witness who could confirm Ford's story and so far none have surfaced. There will be no FBI investigation so it will be a case of 'he said, she said' and given that scenario, the Republicans will prevail on a vote along party lines.
Such is the penalty for losing elections. Dems need to start winning instead of relying on 'hail mary' tactics.
Well, we'll see. I think Collins, whose vote is vital, is teetering. She was already feeling the pressure from her constituents, and then Trump goes and does another sexist tweet, on the Kavanaugh case no less and she was outraged. She just may fold on the grounds that her constituents demand it of her and she is after all supposed to be representing the people...that will be her honourable out for not following the party line.
Here's hoping, anyway
i disagree.....while it's likely due to the make up of the senate, it's not a lock.
if her testimony is compelling and his is evasive, he could go down.
also, flake and corker are looking for a reason to stick their thumbs in trump's eye.....and murkowski is taking shit over kavanaugh's views on alaska natives' rights....and collins claims to support the right of women to choose.
but then there's also the vulnerable red state dems who can't bail....particularly manchin and donnelly .
Meanwhile.....

They can always impeach Kavanaugh later. He's already up for perjury and there is a reason the GOP are hiding so much of his records.
The senate is split 51-49 with a Republican majority. In the dream scenario Collins and Murkowski vote against confirmation but hold on, Joe, "the Mole", Manchin, a Democrat, is likely to vote for confirmation so we are tied 50-50. In that case Pence breaks the tie in favor of confirmation.
Manchin could surprise us but he voted for Gorsuch and usually sides with the Republican majority.
And yes, the Dems could win back the House and start an investigation against Kavanaugh and possibly impeach him. Which only leaves us with another Trump conservative appointment. I don't see how any of this ends with a nominee friendly to progressive interests.
unfortunately, it doesn't. but this guy is creepy and shouldn't get a life time appointment.
slightly off topic dream scenario....dems take the senate and refuse to bring any trump nominations to the floor for a vote...you know, because it's too close to a presidential election and the american people need to weigh in.
