of course they listened to him in the Trump Tower, believing otherwise would be overly naive

and of course they are going to deny it, it's SOP for the FBI, NSA, Pentagon, MI6 etc...

he really got them by the balls, and having them exposed by the highest office must be fucking unerving for their director

keep up the good work, President Trump, you are not disappointing

No US fingerprints so it must be the British seems to be the rationale.
Instead of, "Hmm, no US fingerprints, so maybe it didn't happen."
It's almost Thai in it's desperate need to find a culprit rather than admit Trump was utterly wrong.

Admit it Butters. You're turned on by it but you can't work out why. Don't worry, we (me and harry) know why you're attracted to its tight, brown-centred, ring-like design. Liberals would tell you not to blame yourself but I think the guilt and shame are all yours and that you're a depraved monster who should, in the interests of hygiene, be hanged from the nearest public erection. Nothing personal. PM sent.

Donald Trump refuses to shake Angela Merkel's hand

Donald Trump has apparently refused to shake Angela Merkel's hand during a joint appearance at the White House.

The pair held an awkward meeting that could help determine the future of the transatlantic alliance and shape the working relationship between two of the world's most powerful leaders.

While the President greeted the German leader with a handshake upon her arrival at the White House, he appeared to ignore requests to do so as the pair sat together later in front of TV cameras.

In footage of the photo opportunity, as photographers call for the two to shake hands, Ms Merkel can be heard saying: "Do you want to have a handshake?"

Mr Trump briefly turns towards her, but continues sitting with his legs apart and hands together.

She then turns back to face the cameras, smiling thinly.

Despite the seemingly frosty nature of the joint appearance, both leaders described their meeting in brief remarks to reporters as having been very good.

The meeting is consequential for both sides.

Ms Merkel, who officials say has prepared carefully for the encounter, is likely to press Trump for assurances of support for a strong European Union.

Mr Trump, who as a presidential candidate criticised Merkel for allowing hundreds of thousands of refugees into Germany, will seek her support for his demand that North Atlantic Treaty Organisation nations pay more for their defence needs.

Relationship building is a less overt but important agenda item. Ms Merkel had close relations with Trump's Democratic and Republican predecessors, Barack Obama and George W Bush, and she is likely to seek a strong working relationship with Mr Trump despite major policy differences and wariness in Germany about the former New York businessman.

He spent a good part of 2016 criticising the Chancellor, accusing her of "ruining" Germany for allowing an influx of refugees from Syria.

"You watch what happens to Angela Merkel, who I always thought of as a very good leader until she did this. I don't know what went wrong with her," said then-candidate Mr Trump at an August rally in Virginia. "What went wrong? Angela, what happened?"

Then, Mr Trump seemed to care little about the potentially awkward ramifications were he to win. He invoked Mr Merkel as a foil at his rallies, accusing his campaign rival, Hillary Clinton, of wanting to be "America's Angela Merkel." He lashed out at Time magazine when it named Ms Merkel "Person of the Year" in 2015 instead of him.

Mr Trump, at the time, did find ways to voice his respect. When a television station in September asked him to name a world leader he admired, he cited Ms Merkel.

"Those who know the Chancellor know that she has a knack for winning over people in personal discussions. I am sure that Donald Trump will not be immune," said Juergen Hardt, a conservative lawmaker who helps coordinate transatlantic relations for the German government.

Mr Trump is eager to see follow-through on his demand that European countries shoulder more of the burden of paying for the Nato alliance, which he has criticised.

He will also seek ideas from Ms Merkel on how to deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin, a leader Ms Merkel has dealt with extensively and whom Mr Trump, to the consternation of Republican and Democratic lawmakers, has praised.

"The President will be very interested in hearing the chancellor's views on her experience interacting with Putin," a senior administration official told reporters.

    Unflushed, the excrement pile grows:

Russian elite invested nearly $100 million in Trump buildings, records show
By Nathan Layne, Ned Parker, Svetlana Reiter, Stephen Grey and Ryan McNeill (Reuters)

MIAMI/MOSCOW (Reuters) - During the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald J. Trump downplayed his business ties with Russia. And since taking office as president, he has been even more emphatic.

“I can tell you, speaking for myself, I own nothing in Russia,” President Trump said at a news conference last month. “I have no loans in Russia. I don’t have any deals in Russia."

But in the United States, members of the Russian elite have invested in Trump buildings. A Reuters review has found that at least 63 individuals with Russian passports or addresses have bought at least $98.4 million worth of property in seven Trump-branded luxury towers in southern Florida, according to public documents, interviews and corporate records.

The buyers include politically connected businessmen, such as a former executive in a Moscow-based state-run construction firm that works on military and intelligence facilities, the founder of a St. Petersburg investment bank and the co-founder of a conglomerate with interests in banking, property and electronics.

People from the second and third tiers of Russian power have invested in the Trump buildings as well. One recently posted a photo of himself with the leader of a Russian motorcycle gang that was sanctioned by the United States for its alleged role in Moscow’s seizure of Crimea.

The Reuters review of investors from Russia in Trump’s Florida condominium buildings found no suggestion of wrongdoing by President Trump or his real estate organization. And none of the buyers appear to be from Putin’s inner circle.

The White House referred questions from Reuters to the Trump Organization, whose chief legal officer said the scrutiny of President Trump’s business ties with Russia was misplaced.

“I can say definitively that this is an overblown story that is media-created,” Alan Garten said in an interview. “I’ve been around this company and know the company’s dealings."

The tally of investors from Russia may be conservative. The analysis found that at least 703 – or about one-third – of the owners of the 2044 units in the seven Trump buildings are limited liability companies, or LLCs, which have the ability to hide the identity of a property’s true owner. And the nationality of many buyers could not be determined. Russian-Americans who did not use a Russian address or passport in their purchases were not included in the tally.

    SUNNY ISLES

The review focused on Florida because the state has a large concentration of Trump-branded buildings, and determining the ownership of properties is easier there than in some other states. The resort town of Sunny Isles Beach, site of six of the seven Trump-branded Florida residential towers, stands out in another way: The zip code that includes the Sunny Isles buildings has an estimated 1,200 Russian-born residents, among the most in the country, U.S. Census data show.

The Trump organization advertises all seven Florida buildings on its website as it pursues similar branding deals around the world. Exactly how much income Trump has earned from the buildings is unclear.

Six of the seven properties were the product of an agreement the New York property magnate struck in 2001 with father-and-son American developers Michael and Gil Dezer. The six buildings operated by the Dezers in Sunny Isles would bear Trump’s name under a licensing agreement.

In an interview, Gil Dezer said the project generated $2 billion in initial sales, from which Trump took a commission. Dezer declined to say how large a commission, citing confidentiality agreements. Garten, the Trump Organization’s chief legal officer, said Trump’s income was a mix of flat fees and percentages but declined to disclose them.

Edgardo Defortuna, a leading Miami developer, estimated that Trump likely made between one percent and four percent in initial sale commissions, based on the standard fees paid on similarly branded projects. If so, Trump stood to reap a total of $20 million to $80 million in Sunny Isles.

Trump receives no commission on subsequent sales in all seven of the Florida residential towers.

He continues to make money from one of the six Sunny Isles buildings, however, according to disclosure forms Trump filed in the 2016 U.S. presidential race. The disclosure form states that Trump received between $100,000 and $1 million from a business called Trump Marks Sunny Isles I LLC. Dezer said these funds came from the Trump International Beach Resort, a hotel and condominium complex.

Trump reported no income on his disclosure form from his seventh Florida property, the Trump Hollywood in the city of Hollywood. How much he has made over the years from that property’s 200 units is unclear. BH3, an investment fund which took over 180 units in a foreclosure sale, paid Trump a licensing fee of $25,000 for each unit, according to Daniel Lebensohn, a principal at the fund. If the remaining 20 units generated the same fee, Trump’s take would have been $5 million. Garten declined to confirm Trump’s commission.

Informed of the Reuters analysis of Trump’s Russian condo investors, two Democratic opponents of the president, Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), renewed their calls for greater disclosure of his finances.

“While the president has denied having invested in Russia, he has said little or nothing about Russian investment in his businesses and properties in the United States or elsewhere,” said Rep. Adam Schiff, ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee. “This should concern all Americans and is yet another reason why his refusal to release his tax returns should be met with considerable skepticism and concern.”

Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) and Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), the Republican chairs of the Senate and House intelligence committees, declined to comment.

Schiff, as well as two U.S. intelligence officials and one former senior law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the Russian government sometimes directs funding at prominent individuals in the United States and Europe in hopes of improving their perception of Russia. Reuters found no evidence of such an effort with Trump. Garten, the Trump Organization’s chief legal officer, scoffed at the idea.

“This is politics at its worst,” he said... (see url to continue reading)...

The vast majority, eh? How come the vast majority ended up with this asshole in charge? You'd think that what with those against them being the vast majority and all that these toolbags wouldn't get elected. Eveny using maths, qute complicated maths, it's hard to how vast majorities come into play. How does that work then? Me, I think the majority of people are vicious, selfish, bigoted, self-regarding assholes who elect people who remind them of themselves. The vast majority of the electorate are selfish cocksuckers while the rest of you are navel-gazing narcissists. Oh well, as the Provos used to say, "If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything".

Anyway, looking at your earlier posts no doubt you'll respond, if you do, with some facetious fluff which will only go to prove humberts point.

Russian Bank Says Trump Link Work of False Flag Hackers

    MOSCOW —
A leading Russian bank says it was targeted by hackers who created a fake cyber trail to suggest extensive links with businesses owned by U.S. President Donald Trump.

"These badly-intentioned attacks were carried out to create the false impression that Alfa Bank secretly maintains contacts with the Trump Organization, whereas in actual fact such contacts don't exist and never existed,'' Alfa Bank said in a statement Friday.

Alfa Bank, Russia's second-largest privately owned bank, said it was targeted by several waves of such attacks this month and last month. The bank said it has appealed to U.S. law enforcement to help find the perpetrator.

A possible server connection between Alfa Bank and the Trump Organization was widely reported by U.S. media last year.

Ireland's the land of Guinness and Conor McGregor, but now it may be the land of Donald Trump's imagination.

A Nigerian man says he is shocked after learning US President Donald Trump tried to pass off words from his poem as an old Irish proverb.

At a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny, Mr Trump told the room: "As we stand together with our Irish friends, I'm reminded of that proverb - and this is a good one, this is one I like. I've heard it for many, many years and I love it.

"'Always remember to forget the friends that proved untrue. But never forget to remember those that have stuck by you.'

"We know that, politically speaking. A lot of us know that, we know it well. It's a great phrase," Mr Trump added.

But his reference left Irish literature lovers perplexed.

    ...

An investigation showed Mr Trump's quote came from a poem called 'Remember to Forget', written by Nigerian Albashir Adam Alhassan, and featured on PoemHunter in 2013.

Surely his own staffers are just taking the piss out of him...

The White House's new official email provides its readers with a daily dose of news from the Trump administration, from events to a "photo of the day" to a curated selection of media reports.

On Friday, that selection included a link to a Washington Post article titled "Trump's budget makes perfect sense and will fix America, and I will tell you why".

The only problem? It was satirical.

    ...

    One paragraph read:

"This budget will make America a lean, mean fighting machine with bulging, rippling muscles and not an ounce of fat. America has been weak and soft for too long.

"BUT HOW WILL I SURVIVE ON THIS BUDGET? you may be wondering. I AM A HUMAN CHILD, NOT A COSTLY FIGHTER JET.

"You may not survive, but that is because you are SOFT and WEAK, something this budget is designed to eliminate."

    Unbelievable.
This from the comments section of that article was quite good I thought.

Maybe it is just my healthy American skepticism, but I am having trouble trying to figure this out:

We have experienced two weeks of chaos, caused by a series of lies to support a fantasy tweet storm, which was the result of the Con PINO's rage over the recusal of Jefferson Beauregard Sessions.

Instead of telling the truth to the American people, the Con PINO Trump decides to waste the time, manpower and money of two Congressional Committees, their staffs, the FBI and the DOJ to attempt to cover up his lies.

His Secretary of Propaganda adds to the Russian nesting dolls of lies at his daily WH Press Briefings for the better part of two weeks, and in doing so assists in spreading a false conspiracy theory that implicates one of our closest allies.

The WH implies that it apologized to the British for the statement, when apparently what they said was "Hey, we won't do it again." Later in the day, the Secretary of Propaganda said he had nothing to regret or to apologize for,

At a joint Press Conference with the leader of another of our allies, the Con PINO Trump. upon questioning, said he did nothing wrong, and pointed the finger of blame at someone else, and then used the issue to make a joke.

So, the Con PINO Trump lies, continues to lie, has his staff lie, uses false conspiracy theories from a Propaganda Operation as cover, and damages our relations with two allies in the process.

The question is, how is this embarrassing incompetence helping us achieve MAGA?

The only problem? It was satirical.

Written by columnist and humourist Alexandra Petri, the opinion piece — it is noted at the top of the article that it is indeed opinion writing — mocks the Trump administration's budget.

Mr Trump's proposed budget has flagged massive cuts to the State Department — including UN funding and foreign aid — and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and increased funding to the military and border security.

Petri poked fun at the "hard power budget" and likely cuts to humanitarian programs, publicly funded media and UN-funded initiatives.

The article was later removed from the email, but not before screenshots had been shared by several social media users.

Twitter user Molly Templeton wrote: "This was in today's email from the White House.

"So clearly, literally no one read the linked piece by @petridishes, did they?"

Petri, who jokingly lamented in a tweet that "no-one reads any more", followed up her initial piece with a second one, including the phrase:

"The White House is not full of careless people who skim headlines looking for the ones that sound sort of positive and then send them out in their daily briefing newsletter hoping for the best haaa ha ha nope ha ha these are the minds who control war and peace and the budget and things ha ha ha it's fine ha ha oh god help."

And p[eople are still trying to defend them. Retards.
