Where can I get the best value back pack, not the cheapest. Example - padded back, large zipper teeth, thicker material...

Probably Central department store would have the best quality. They are more likely to sell originals and cheaper ones will just fall appart.

That was going to be my suggestion too. Either Central or The Mall department stores. I got one at The Mall Ngamwongwan in early 2006 and I still have it.
