nice pics, thanks. Would like to see some evidence from farther back, t hough - would it be paleolithic? ....and it's all about people - what about flora and her brother fauna?

I've thought of setting up a small eco center up here where I'm based in Chiang Rai. It would be geared toward schoolkid visits, and include murals which depict what the landscape looked like at different stages in the past: For example: 100 years ago, then 10,000 yrs, then 1 million, then 65 million (dinosaurs), etc.

Luckily the mods on here are not a bunch of do-gooding old farts like they are on Udon Map, so that ain't going to happen.

If they take away my telephone the next time I visit the museum (or any museum in the country for that matter), I will know whom to thank.

Lots of little bars around Nong Prajak Lake. I think there's a Seppo Lard Emporium in the NE corner of the lake area if you need some tucker as well.

A trip to the museum, a few cold award winners and a visit to a lard emporium, sounds right up my alley

on the left on Highway 2 travelling north towards Nong Khai.
Just before the northern ring road 216.
