    Best/good shop for a TV?

LOOKIN' to buy a smallish TV.

Not to watch it from the moon. Maybe spend 6 or 7,000 bht

I was just thinking TESCO but 'PA' said HomePro. I've got no idea.

We are central Thailand, close enough for most dept. stores.

Anyone bought something recenty they are happy with?

Go for a Samsung that doesn't have any special reductions or anything.

We bought ours from Tesco which was cheaper for the model we wanted, and then got a fistful of cash vouchers through at the end of the quarter as well.

Don't think in terms of price, think in terms of what you want (and will want, over the years)

Prices are nothing compared to a few years ago.

32 inch is tiny. A bit better is a 43 inch UHD 4K for 11k baht.

That's probably good for playing Minecraft on.

Minimum nowadays should be FHD - Full High Definition. 1080p. Didn't know that 1366x768 were still being sold outside of North Korea.

    The 43inch for 11k is UHD / 4K screen resolution: 3840x2160

The extra 4k baht from your initial budget would be damn well worth it over a few years.

Had a lot of LG and Samsung products. They were all shite apart from my S7 samsung phone. Buy one thats cheap enough to ditch and replace when the warranty runs out or at least one that has its own designated service agents in Thailand.

Watch Barbara at 1366x768 resolution and you'd think that she's a sheep. Watch her at 3840x2160 and you'll be motorboating the TV screen.
