They would defuse them if close to a village then transport them usually to an abandoned pit to detonate

the BLU,S would get sandbagged and detonated where found



The villagers reported to uxo team once that there was a huge one in the village that a construction team from the Electricity company (EDL) found while putting up high tension transmission lines, they simply put the tower a few feet away and continued on. our team considered it way to risky to blow and so did the Govt UXO Lao , it was a very sensitive fuse apparently, anyway problem solved itself one night when a few lads in a vigo turned up and stole it, mad fuckers eh.

Oh, all the shrapnell and shell casings that have exploded get saved for a month then sold and the money is divided to the teams, Being such high tensile steel they get good money from it, if they are super Lucky they can find Aluminium fueltanks that have been jettisoned before returning to base, These can be used to make boats.

Sepon has a very good clinic with equipment more modern than you are likely to find in most clinics in that part of Lao, Staffed by 2 excellent flipper doctors and Well trained Lao staff

That clinic was certainly kept busy, Security guard got bit on the finger by a snake

One of the drill crew collided with a contractors dumpy on the haulroad on his way to work. Off to the clinic then medivac for him




Emergecy response are putting there training to use





It seems crazy to share a Haulroad with locals on scooters and farm machinery but nodody seemed able to stop it

Yet another job for emergency services , The clinic and a crane op from maintenance. One of the copper process plant had slipped in some acid slurry

Acid used in the copper process comes overland from Thailand down route 13, its not much of a road and theres often accidents along it

The acid truck making a delivery collided with some locals on an oiron buffaloe



The locals werent to badly banged up but did require a trip to a Local hospital






Not sure how that turned out but looks like they will be needing a new iron buffaloe
