    Comments rather than complaints

I'll start by saying that I'm mightily impressed by the layout of the forum. A couple of points which annoy-me-ever-so-slightly, but are not important.

I don't like the sticky threads - too many. If a thread is 'alive' it will find its way to page 1.

I'd like a longer period before a post is marked as being edited. No problem if a post is made afterwards, but if it is the last post in the thread there should be a longer period in which to alter it before the 'edited' line comes up.

I'm also not keen on the pop-up talking rabbits. I suppose some people find them amusing, although I must say that I find some of their messages disturbing.

Well actually it must be your connection danbo as you're only supposed to get either the sticky threads or the pop up rabbits.

I hear what you're saying about the edit thingy. It's fucking embarrassing when you make a stupid speeling mistake and you just want to sneak back in and correct it without everyone knowing.
As soon as they see that edit note they think..
"Ha danbo made another spelling mistake!"

Oh, by the way....Dear Poolie is a sticky.................mind who you're messin' with!

Well I am gonna agree with danbo if not just because Marmite was bolshi with me yesterday. Threads will remain at the top if they are popular with a few exceptions. One being 'The Noobies Thread' as I think that should remain stickied so that newcomers can readily find it. I actually think that the popularity of 'Dear Pooly' would keepit at the top anyway but am open to discussion on this one. I also agree with the edit line time doodah thing coz I make some awful silly mistakes sometimes.
As posters post counts grow the pop up rabbits change, firstly to pop up talking goldfish, then owls, then the Budweiser frogs and so on. I am up to whistling Armadillo's and cant wait to find out what is next. It is a real incentive to get involved on as many threads as possible.
