    Kamui Hokkaido

...we stopped into this new Japanese restaurant (4th floor, SiamIcon) for a light lunch...

...a salmon avocado salad, salmon roll and seafood veggie tempura...accompanied by a Sapporo beer and a peach and passion fruit smoothie. Satisfying meal, competently served: we'll be returning...B2,300.

^^...it was: the Japanese chef works behind a large glass partition so, I imagine, customers can see him and his staff at work...

Looks tasty and nicely presented. I like strawberries with my salmon and avacado salad...just a mention, I think you might like to try next time.

It is so they can parade a selection of chefs in the fishtank in front of very rich customers.

The customers can choose their chef from the cullinary candidates while the chefs smile hopefully and pleadingly from behind the soundproof glass before they are summarily dismissed and consigned to washing up duties if unsuccessful.

...perhaps you could pass your suggestion on to the chef...just tap on the window to get his attention...
