I don't eat farang food much in Thailand, save the occasional greasy fry up to start the day.

But I was taken to this Italian place last week and it's probably the best Italian food I've tasted in Thailand.

We didn't go until about 10ppm and it was still absolutely ramming; as long as they make the food they do, I can see why.

Enormous "Regular" Pizzas, delicious minestrone, the Pastas are great, in fact the only criticism would be the price and choice of wine selection, but that's more to do with Thailand than the restaurant.

If you like Italian, I'd recommend it. It's al fresco and fans, but has an AC room as well if you need it.

Thanks Harry, off to Phuket for 10 days to see an old mate,Will give it a try but i doubt any thing will beat my mrs pork meat-balls in a rich tomato & basil sauce with garlic bread and of course spaghetti.

And in fairness, judging by the demographics, it will be serving Borsch or Curry by the end of the year.

Although the Scandyhooligans are still there in numbers.

My flight back to Bangkok was like the Delhi-Mumbai hopper.
