^ would look more sinister in reverse.

Supposedly a Space X launch, couldn't see any details about it online.

Believe it's a Nasa released image of their SLS.

    Which hasn't actually flown yet.

    Nothing to see here folks.

Potentially. It is a solid rocket booster as you can see from the exhaust trail. Solid first stages are rare except for ICBMs. More likely US than russian though. The russians prefer mostly liquid propellant engines.

Phobos, darkest known moon in the solar system, above Mars.

(A person who weighs 68 kg (150 lb) on Earth would weigh about 60 g (2 oz) standing on the surface of Phobos.) A great place to weigh oneself.

probably is but doesn't look big enough to stand on, though I guess balancing would be easy in space

    Great photo.

Phobos has 22km diameter. Enough to stand on. But the gravity is so low if you stretch up from bended knees you may launch yourself into space away from Phobos.

Maybe if you fart, too, with enough baked beans for brekky and an egress flap in your space suit.

You forgot the name or description for this one.

It is, yes, Petra from Petros meaning rocks, Nabatean capital, brilliantly located for natural defence with the only route in through a 1km canyon.
